Pre-filled with Ready-to-Use Drug, they eliminate the need for time-consuming preparation processes, reduce the risk of medication errors and simplify dosage calculations. Typical examples of ready-to-use solutions include Hydroxyethyl starch (HES) as a volume expander as well as the anti-infectives and antibiotics Metronidazole, Gentamicin, and Tobramycin.

Dual-Chamber Bags
Nündel’s dual-chamber bags with WEAKSEAL technology enable safe and effortless medication preparation—without the need for additional tools — while also extending shelf life. A gentle squeeze activates the seal, mixing two liquids or a powder (e.g., lyophilized substances) with a suitable dilunet directly inside the bag. This saves time, reduces the risk of medication errors and minimizes waste and injury hazards.
For highly sensitive applications—such as in oncology — we offer special variants with protective film structures. These allow for safe pre-preparation, enabling medical professionals to treat patients in outpatient settings without direct contact with hazardous substances. Instead of a powder, the medication chamber can also be filled with a liquid concentrate.
